Welcome to George Washington 1776 Lodge's website

We encourage fellow Masons to visit our Lodge on our lodge nights, which are the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 7:30 PM, except in July and August when we are dark.  We love to meet brothers from all around the world.  Our lodge is at 517 E Beaumont Ave in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, near the corner of Silver Spring Rd. and Lake Drive, behind Sendik's Grocery Store.

We also encourage those who are interested in becoming a Mason to come to one of our public events or to contact us by phone, mail, or email.  Go to the "Contact Us" page for more information to contact our Secretary or Worshipful Master.

Four lodges in the North Shore of Milwaukee consolidated around 2000 to form the George Washington 1776 Lodge.  For a short history of the consolidation, go to our History of George Washington 1776 Lodge page.

The Lodge is furnished in a Williamsburg style and is named for our great first President.  George Washington exemplied a life of work and service, as he progressed from farmer and surveyor to General and then President.  Like Brother George, our members strive to improve themselves and to be honorable in all they do.

Our newsletters are called "The Surveyor" in honor of George Washington.

We invite you to visit us during one of our public events. Our members are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about Freemasonry.
